Advocating for Student Welfare & Infrastructure Upgrades at SAM Degree College Budgam

Today, The Community Servants submitted a detailed representation to the Principal of Sheikh-ul-Alam Memorial Degree College, Budgam, outlining urgent infrastructural, academic, and welfare improvements based on direct student feedback. Our letter emphasized key areas such as student safety (RO water facilities, functional washrooms, smoke detectors), campus infrastructure (prayer rooms, renovated parks, seating benches, and playgrounds), and digital upgrades (CCTV surveillance, biometric attendance). We also highlighted the need for course expansion in fields like AI and Journalism, along with addressing faculty shortages.  

As a youth-led group committed to educational welfare, we proposed collaborative efforts with the college for cleanliness drives and awareness initiatives. These recommendations aim to foster a safer, more inclusive, and modern academic environment for students. We remain dedicated to supporting SAM College in implementing these changes for the benefit of its student community.
